See Ma, We Could Wear Shorts!

So today was the first day of my stay at Monmouth University for this HOBY leadership seminar. It was definitely much more than i had expected! But back tracking to this morning? Oh my, what a stressful morning that was! Basically, last night carried into today with my mother yelling at me to. Bring this and that. I realize that she does it out of care and sorry but its a little over the limit or out of bounds of the correct way. The way she addresses me to bring items was just too much pressure on top of my own worry to pack by myself. But anyways, we got here really early. We left the house a little past and got here at a little past 8.

As of expectations, it was NOT what i expected! When you think leadership seminar you think boring and formal, when actually the people are crazy hyper and fun. While still getting the message across. It all began driving up to registration parking lot. The people directing us pointed the way and screamed "are you readdyyy!!??hooobbyy!!" and then when we went to registration table we walked through "the tunnel" of cheering and welcome. I got to the dorm and got settled, still with no room mate. We went back down to the orientation. To find that this is where i part ways with my sister and mom. It was a quick depart but i was ready. From there i walked over to a group of other ambassadors in the beginning of a chain of ice breaker games which was pretty interesting considering the energy already established. After, we found ourselves in groups at a hall at specific tables. There music played ,we jammed awkwardly just kidding. We have learned SOO many cheers today its insane! A big importance about this weekend to me is to explore my social abilities that I know I have. My group is a bit awkward but were warming up to each others. At times I dislike it because I have 3 catty girls and it kind of got annoying how they would text or only speak to each other. But then again my so skills aren't on blast yet. I look forward for tomorrow with that. After the talks and dancing , the after of lectures began. The first was good and pretty moving. The man ripped a 20 bill in pieces to signify its importance. After that, the presentations got monogamous and sleep started to catch on. Then we made commercial skits to sell a product based on a good characteristic of leadership. They activity actually let us bond better in a way and all my bets or on tomorrow. i realized today to not leave out those shy awkward people because i well enough know i used to be that same girl. Boring To Spare

Day 2 of Band Trip was a little boring, unfortunately. But I guess in order to have a good trip like this, you need to sacrifice one boring, educational day. This morning we finally did our performance which didn't even last 5 minutes probably. It's kind of ridiculous, but oh well! We went to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and we saw an IMAX movie. A bunch of people were falling asleep as usual, but to be honest I really love watching things in IMAX :D ..just not boring ones. I thought the day would get better tonight, but it really didn't. Swings and Things was a little creepy due to the fact that it was pretty run down and crappy. The best part, by far, had to be the Go-Karts! Gahh, I have really grown a liking to go-karting . Even though the cars and track weren't exactly nice either, the idea and thrill you get out of it is amazing! I truly want to do it again when we get back to NJ. Photo is of me screwing around with sleeping people. Lesson learned, don't sleep on the bus :D

A Dog & An Owner

I would be ashamed to admit that today wasn't very eventful, so l am ashamed. It really shouldn't be a shock because my Sundays never really were anything amazing in the first place. I don't want to admit that such a day I wouldn't be embarrassed to share relies on talking to him, but it may be true. Thee is the story of the dog and her master. Wait no, that seems too controlling.. let us refer to him as her best friend. ( you know.. "man's best friend") The two share a great relationship when they are together. They both wouldn't change it for the world. The dog is bound to home, so its not like she gets the chance to leave whenever. Therefore, she cherishes the time she has with him. He on the other hand has full freedom to go about in the world and do many things. Some days he will spend the entire day with friends and live. The dog knows better not to be jealous because that is just how life works out. She is bound to home while he is out. She does not get mad or run a rampage and destroy the house, but she simply waits for his return. The downer days are the long events where he comes home late and goes straight to bed. As soon as he walks in, the dog's tail gives off a little wag. He is more than tired and gives her a little ruffle through her hair with his right hand, showing he cares, nonetheless. He continues into the room. Door shut, the dog kind of just sits there, all wagging stopped. An inevitable sadness hovers overhead after a long day's session of the waiting game ends in a fade out. She gets up and heads back over into her bed, only hoping that tomorrow will be a better, more eventful, day. As much as I would not want to compare myself to the role of a dog, the information has its relevance. I do not get mad or anything. It is simply a bit of disappointment that will hopefully fade away tomorrow. Photo is of me eating shrimp chips and watching Monster this afternoon. :)

Mah Cousin Fer Life :)

It feels like you're not even trying right now, but whatever. Hrmm.. I look back on today and see nothing special. It's sad for me to admit that I woke up and did nothing. I kind of would rather have slep tthe whole day away. Finally being able to chat online, I was talking to the bestie about how one of these Summers I'm going to buy a plane ticket and visit him in Cali >:] We are going to roadtrip down to LA and SF and live it up! It honestly has me so excited for the time we can finally drive and jsut be our own. I haven't seen this boy for like a year from the last time he visited, but boy do I miss him so! I swear..if he was here, our hs years would be so epic. I highly believe, my emotions wouldn't be on such a rampage because he'd probably slap me silly before they did. haha Photo is of a parallel text off of Sparknotes that I printed out for Macbetha-tha.

Charcoal Trials

Hrmm.. Today we got our snow day. I think everyone can agree in fact that snow days can be much more boring than a regular day. It's different from a vacation because typically, you are captivated by the snow all around you and part or you just doesn't feel like doing anything. That is exactly of what my day consisted of.. Nuffin. After yesterday's escapade, I really didn't feel like putting my suffered feet into motion. Oh, well I did go to Barnes & Noble tonight! I'm moving on to experiment with a new medium, lately: charcoal. It's so unorganized when I begin because I never get the formal lesson of how to use the medium. I use all the experimental elements. Its something I like to call trial and error. With a paper and charcoal, I see what works. Currently, my knack for perfection in proportion and shading is not up to par. Im not so much worried about it yet. Photo to be uploaded is of my father when he was 13. Second trial piece.

Everyday, Actually

I can easily use the phrase "Of all days" , but I technically mean every day. Of all days, I wish I could've been with you today. Affection came a little late today, about 15 minutes before I had to run practice. Part of me just wanted to be like "Fack this, let's get out of here!" I didn't want to stray away from your tight grip, but I had to run today's practice with Jaelynn. I ended it early because it's just too pointless to stay until 5:30PM, not really doing anything. Only a few girls were there. I don't know..I just keep thinking back on today and keep wishing I had spent it with you..if it doesn't snow tomorrow, I'm praying I get the chance to do so. Photo's of Rey being a bum :)

I HAVEN'T ______ SINCE EASTER!

Today was good, for the most part. It was a half-day day and headed to the Dominican's house with the favorite black person. We ordered Chinese food and watched Teeth. It was a nice day until it got cut short. Thanks, Mama Jacob. I'm webcamming right now. He should talk more.

Tiu Tiu Tiu

Sunday Sunday Sunday. I didn't do much today, just slacked around like usual..Church is church and I'm actually singing and participating in a way now we went to the mall for a bit and I got my eyebrows threaded. I can never not cry when I get them done! It's actually kind of funny. I found out that if I kept my original Chinese name, I would've been Stefanellie Tiu. I ate wafers allll day. Gah, I need to stop. Tomorrow we start second semester and things just might turn out good. :) Photo's of cam whoring in the car. haha It's not the best picture...It looks better from far away

Words Written Words Spoken

Mm...today was a regular Monday..nothing really special about it, but I did have alittle date with my life at Dunkin Donuts this afternoon :D Forgive me for possibly not making sense, but just being with you for two houws and staring into your eye makes my day completely. I could grab your hands and intertwine them with mine, look you in the eyes and you would blush. It's kinda cute. I'm usually the one blushing! haha We definitely both want the same thing..and for you to speak those same words as you texted me last night, gives it so much more effect. I could not contain my heart. Oh, we found a dead mouse today, yuck. Photo's of an amazing whale and a baby whale :D ..but Dan ruined it. -_-

Oh Sunday

Sundays can be such a bore sometimes. Church isn't very exciting, so that doesn't help. After church, I ended up being the only one awake in my family. I needed some make-up such as eye shadow and eyeliner for marching band, so I decided to leave on my own to Stop & Shop. I was upset to find that they didn't have the right shades that I need and so I left. I didn't want to come home empty handed, as so being the money-spending addict, I just decided to pass by McDonald's and get a $1 Sweet Tea. It was pretty good, not gonna lie. :D But I think I'm forming another cavity on my top right. D: Oh well. Thats life. That Sunday I also went to Walgreens with my father to get the makeup that I actually needed and to develop some pictures. This one here, was one of them.

Plain

Band today was as usual: the guard does nothing while we all learn new drill. Its so amazing how me and Jaelynn can come up with some of the most randomest tricks out on the field. We made up to flips and will probably be making more! My feelings were still uneven.
