BBBBBBEEELLVILLE HIGH SCHOOLLL MARCHINGG BANND!!

Today Belleville had its first competition of the season :D To be honest, it felt like a good one! [In my opinion at least] Unfortunately, we got 4th place out of 7 other bands [including Nutley >:0]. In turn, though, this simply acts as greater motivation to push ourselves and be amazing! The day was pretty long, too! Somehow, I had forced myself to wake up at 7AM and get ready. We practiced from 8:15AM-11AM. The practice felt really good and we were getting a lot done. The show itself was looking 10x better and everyone was excited. After wards, we had an hour or so to get food and come back to change and prepare. Jaelynn's friend, Erik, came along. I had never really got to talk to that kid, but I've realized that he's pretty cool. Apparently, he's coming to every competition, so this should be good lol. The bus ride was pretty fun.. After the show, we got back and I was BEAT. Unloading the truck, I still felt some energy flowing through, but I knew it was going to run dry soon. By the time I was at Maryanne's house with Ana and Jaelynn, I was dead tired. It might've been the Jolt I had that day..lmao. I was so pumped that day though..it got me hoping for next weekend to come a little bit faster! South Brunswick, here we come!

So We Lost - What Else Is New?

Belleville against Bloomfield today..we lost. ofcourse. haha

The day was quite interesting.. I wasn't sure if I felt pissed off or happy by the end of it. I was very content at the football game because it is my favorite out of all of them. I know so many people from there that it brings a good feeling to see a lot of familiar faces. I sort of got pissed off at myself because of our performance, but what the hell. It's just a football game. I'll work harder this upcoming week. Our first competition is next Saturday! Oh goodness! Feelings of a controversial happiness came over me, as we got back from the game. Questions were being asked and things were being assumed. It was sort of funny. Oh, here's somehting from Per 1 Health Class. haha

Just A Party!

So I am on my phone right now in feel of how tired today has made me. School itself was a long day. Afterwards, we had guard practice outside on the field. Many of us had not been aware, so we were all practicing in our school uniforms! It was horrible. The amount of sweat to begin with was already at a high and practice only made it worse. Just A Party was nonetheless fun, though! Mainly, I hung out with Abby and Fred [Jonathan]. Its nice to walk about all night with someone's arms around you, as well as your own around them.. fun haha. It was a pretty chill night. Not too many people were around, but we still made a good time out of it! Unlike other years, I personally wanted to come home around 9 because I was so tired and still had hw! So now as I lie here, I can sleep nicely, knowing I had a good day and hw is done. The only thing now is to look forward to tomorrow. XD woot. Bloomfield Game is coming up!

And Now For The Finale!

That Thursday was a nice day! Band Picnic!! The first thing we did that day was take pictures. I guess it didn't matter if you were late or not, but a good feeling came back when I put that ugly blue uniform on. Maybe it was the oder of never being washed or the scent of memories at football games, cheering at the top of my lungs. My jazz shoes still had dirt from the last muddy, rainy football game we cheered for- gross. Standing outside in the front with the photographer seemed like forever trying to figure out how everyone should stand. The double in size didn't help, as it only made it harder to get everyone in the shot. We had about two extra rows to fit the entire guard. Group 3, baby.

After pictures the rest of the band went outside to practice for a few ours. I would have joined them, but Stephanie, Jaelynn, Rachel, and I had to stay inside to make copies of superlatives and fill them out. It took about half an hour, but hey I won't lie: it was kind of nice to stay in for a little bit longer. Then we went out to practice for the rest of the day. At lunch, we gave out superlatives, which needed a lot of yelling to pass them out. It was hilarious when Mike and Tiana got "Most Likely To Be A Couple" He began to chace her to the back of the auditorium and harrass her. It was great.

Afterwards, everyone left and I went to Ana's house to chill with her until 4:30. I love chilling at her house. Whether we are dying hair, watching Degrassi, or nonetheless sleeping, I still manage to enjoy it there. Maybe this is why I hate being home.

We returned to the hs by 4:30, meeting at the big field to practice a few more times. Parents began to show up and we performed our show. I fail to feel nervous anymore; I already knew it would be bad, but that's how it always is. Performing has become second nature to me; I just wish the rookie girls would catch up to be the same. We brought in the stuff inside and to my surprise, a good friend of mine had broke down. My eyes froze, and I wasn't sure what to do. I thought to myself, "Isn't this supposed to be a good night? Why are there tears already? The night hasn't even begun." I sat outside with my friend for comfort and help. Honestly, I suck at situations like that. I tend to freeze up and not know what to do. But as a friend, I do what I can to keep you together. Things gathered up and we went back inside.

The picnic that night was so fun! People were getting clothespinned all night, and chatting stayed strong. We all laughed around and jokes were going everywhere. The food was good and with that- my two weeks of healthy eating kind of ended. I filled my stomach with toron, cookies, pasta, and many more goods. :)
